Lovely home, lovely natural light, lovely young couple 🙂 Although I didn’t shoot the original wedding I did photograph them 40 years later and quite frankly they look great! If i marry Chantal this week I can celebrate our 40th in 2048. I’ll only be 87 years old !!
A couple goes out to dinner to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. On the way home, she notices a tear in his eye and asks if he’s getting sentimental because they’re celebrating 40 wonderful years together. He replies, “No, I was thinking about the time before our nuptuals. Your father threatened me with a shotgun and said he’d have me thrown in jail for 40 years if I didn’t marry you…. Tomorrow I would’ve been a free man!”
This particular image is one of my favorites from the session. I bounced a single Canon 580 with a stofen diffuser off the wall right side out of frame. The rest of the light is natural from the window and hallway. I converted the image to black and white, added a dodge and burn layer to achieve this old world charm appeal.
