Chantal and I are so fortunate to meet so many awesome clients and this photographic session was no exception. We arrived at the McLean cottage to capture the family together for the first time in many years. There was something I knew felt right as soon as we arrived. After some time shooting Randy(Dad) and I discovered we both went to the same high school in Brantford Ontario as well as the same public school. Randy’s mother also knew my mother and her creative embroidery skills. It was a pleasure photographing a family that I could see had great dynamics and come from what I still consider my “hometown”. We look forward to hopefully doing a summer shoot at the cottage this summer. Here are a few from our December meeting…..enjoy!
On a technical side-note, the bright light you see on the ceiling of the top floor in the house is my Canon 580 EX flash being fired with a Radio Popper. I forgot to turn off the flash :)…that’s some distance!
