Pic Of The Day

Mark Ridout - Link away my friend πŸ™‚ Interestingly enough I had to sell the concept to the officers wife who wanted a picture of her husband in dress uniform. I actually shot and printed this hoping she would see my vision. It was out at the retirement function and many people were talking about it. πŸ™‚

Rick Lewis - Just brilliant! I hope that officer bought a 3’x2′ print for his wall. Simply outstanding work Mark. May I link that to my guild’s page?

trina schaetz - killer…as always. great work!

supairx - Amazing !!! Love the water angle, aspect, the toy look of the car, the dramatic sky, the standing of the man. Magnificent targeted hdr treatment promoting the feeling… I quess after that you can hit the local roads speed unlimited πŸ˜‰ Thank you for sharing it

Auction Action – The Corneil Family

Recently Ridout Photography visited the Corneil family and photographed the gang at the Corneil Auction Barn and family farm. If you want something fun to do on a Friday night head over to Little Britain, Ontario and watch the action. Even if you don’t buy anything you can watch two of the best auctioneers rock it out in this fast paced arena. I spent many a pay cheque here over the years as I have a weakness for Canadiana furniture and good deals. Here are a few of my faves. Enjoy

Stephen carr - Cornelius are lovely family. Used to live in Kawartha Lakes area and did business with Don Corneil. One of the most original, hardworking, honest man I’ve ever met. My sympathies on his passing

Don Corneil - very nice photos and in a great environment….reminds of days gone by and my personal time on the farm

Tom R - Awesome! Love the group shot in the auction barn
