  • Ridout Photography – Blogging From The Edge

Thanks for visiting our blog. Here you will find many images from present all the way back to 2008 when we started sharing our passion. This blog will follow Chantal and I as we cross this great earth photographing the many weddings, events and family sessions we are so lucky to be involved in.

Please leave a comment if you have any questions, are moved by an image or would just like to talk shop. Hopefully your images will become part of our photographic journey.

Erin & Chad

What a great time Chantal and I had photographing this wedding in Peterborough Ontario. I couldn’t get Erin and Chad inside from the cold. As you can see the snow storm didn’t slow the festivities down. It was such an honour to be a part of Erin and Chad’s fun filled day. They exude love and happiness! All the best guys.

Kristen, Ryann, Emery in a cold quick session

This was one of the quickest shoots we have done in some time. From the two locations we shot for approximately a half  hour before the little one had enough and Chantal and I ran for the heat of the car.  I’m sure it was the coldest day of the year. Kristen is a server at  Pane Vino in Lindsay Ontario. Say hello to her and leave her a big tip. The kids all need new shoes 🙂

M for Madness - My eyes were going funny scrolling down so quickly but it’s number 5 from the top that I like the best. Not for what you can see, but what you cannot.

Fantastic milky smooth bokeh…. a sure sign of an f2.8.

Very nice.

Kristin - Thank you Mark and Chantal – these are amazing (and so was your patience this day!) When Ryann saw them she said “they were worth freezing for!” Can’t wait to do this again when it’s warmer……these memories will last a life time!
