Where Are They Now?

Recently Chantal and I visited couples Anna & Eric and Kate & Nick . Both couples are expecting newborns very soon. The other interesting fact is that Anna & Nick and Kate & Eric are both brother and sister:)Always a pleasure meeting up with past clients especially these guys. You may remember Kate and Nick from the couple on the love seat with the cows in the background. That image has been published numerous times as well as displayed  recently with Hahnemuhle Paper at WPPI in Las Vegas. Anna and Eric’s wedding was also spectacular both in the venue and the abundance of excellent locations and details. The photograph of their Limo leaving for the wedding ceremony from the family farm remains as one of my favourite images.   We are planning a very cool shoot in June with both couples and will be sure to share that with you but in the mean time enjoy a few of the past album images as well as some recent prego shots:)

Ellie Lavery - Beautiful photos of a wonderful family.

Erin Campbell - The baby boots shot ~ amazing.

From Cuba to Vegas to Friendship – Khanh and Phil

Chantal and I caught up with Khanh and Phil when we visited Las Vegas last week. We had the pleasure of spending an entire week with them and documenting their beautiful wedding in Varadero Cuba. If you missed that blog post I have attached a few below. Khanh and Phil are so happy together and you can’t help but feel uplifted when you are around them. we consider them friends forever. They mentioned that they were looking at real estate in Vegas and if they do purchase a rental or vacation home, Chantal and I will  help them paint for a place to stay:)  Shortly after delivering their album and slide show I received a note from Khanh…..I think she liked the final product:)

“Dear Mark,

This blog post may not be the right place to comment, but I don’t care. I love you. If I wasn’t already married to Phil and if I also didn’t love Chantal, I would drag you off and marry you. I just watched the slideshow and it was PERFECT. No other words could describe it.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for capturing our day exactly the way you did, we could not have asked for more.

Love,

Khanh”

Paul McCall - Seriously ROFL with the shirt comment. Bahahaha.

Tom - Mark I want you to give back that shirt you are wearing. It belongs to Muammar Gaddafi and he’s pissed that you stole it from him when you shot that wedding in Libya.

Lynn Wilson - AWESOME PICS….as usual Mark. I really like the bell one and the one on the steps!!! Great job!!!

Khanh - This post makes me so happy! It was great seeing you and Chantal, I think that we’ll be visiting you guys in Lindsay soon…=)

Erin Campbell - LOVE the one on the stairs!

Yiannis Papakostopoulos - For the comment quoted on the post and the original:
Khanh, dont worry. You already seem to be married to the best photographer anyhow… Try to divorce him if you can :-)
And thanks to that i can enjoy again and again the beauty of happy life happened and captured.
Love all the aspects of you both and the “eye” behind you…
Details need a forum here, but at the end is what we all feel that makes it count in short.
Thank you all for letting us be there…

Yiannis

M for Madness - Oh wow, I don’t know what one I like best. The tree root against the wall is fantastic but so too is the terracotta tiles. The bell shot…. ooooh it’s tempting to want to go and clank something off it..

The lighting on the stair and bulldozer shots are very interesting.

Did I say wow already….

Ridout Photography & Pane Vino Catering with Chef Andrew Munro

Recently Ridout Photography and Pane Vino paired up to share space at a recent Bridal show right here in our own back yard. Owner and Sommelier Louis Karkabasis came up with the booth concept to offer potential clients a relaxing elegant experience while sampling and viewing our services. We basically created a living and dining room experience on the tradeshow floor.  At times the booth was so full we had to step out to make room. Many of the couples that visited the Pane Vino Booth were treated to a few of  Chef Andrew Munros Hors d’œuvres. If anyone is interested in having Chef Andrew and Pane Vino cater their wedding please contact them through their websites which I have linked above. Thank you to everyone that stopped to chat with us in our booth. We look forward to another successful year ahead.Louis

judy kay bryan - One Word Amazing!

M for Madness - Ryan loved it, especially the two depth charges when your credit came up at the end. Time lapse was good, the fact it panned from left to right was awesome… We even saw you in action.

Excellent, we’re off to look at it again and turn up the speakers…..
