from the Donny Anderson site: Donny Anderson is currently in Los Angeles, California working in the studio on some new tunes with the amazingly talented Maia Sharp… Maia has worked with Don Was producing records for such artists as Edwin McCain (who had 2 smash singles – ‘I’ll Be’ and ‘I Could Not Ask for More) as well as penning songs for notable artists like The Dixie Chicks (Home) and Bonnie Raitt (I Don’t Want Anything to Change). Be on the lookout for some new songs! Also, for those of you in Canada – Donny’s song ‘You’ll Come Around’ (written by him, Chad Doucette and Matthew Tishler) will be featured on Episode 10 of the new CMT Canada Series ‘UnStable’. Valerie & Chris – Lindsay Ontario Engagement Session

Val & Chris made the trip into beautiful lindsay for a mid afternoon romp around this scenic area. Our travels found some new shooting locations and excellent light. Chris flys a DC3 for a private company when not attending to the needs of the beautiful green eyed Valerie Chris told me his Dad was a previous owner of the bowling alley (in the late 80′s I believe) so we had to pay a visit before calling it a wrap. Chris assured me that his dad didn’t paint the walls lime green

Another Camping Time-lapse

Chantal has taken the boys for the week and gone camping at Balsam Provincial park. I made dinner (homemade spaghetti) and visited them Thursday late afternoon. It was another great opportunity to create a time lapse video from the visit. Still in the experimental stages but having a lot of fun figuring these clips out….I’m hoping to create a wedding time lapse in the next few weeks. …stay tuned.

Sunday Drive – Gone Camping

Chantal and the boys are off camping for the week. That means a week of hard work, album building, slide show building and a quick trip to Toronto for a flash repair (that’s another story) Here is a short experimental clip from today as I helped build their new homes for the week.

Lindsay Ribfest 2010 – Good Award

This months Lindsay Good Award goes to Young’s Community Foundation in organizing the 1st of the The Lindsay Ribfest Invitational. The Rib Fest Invitational is taking place this weekend and appears that it should be a success. Just returned with the boys from a great lunch. We decided to purchase a half rack from each of the big players and what a treat to taste some excellent BBQ Ribs. The only downside to our lunch was that there was no place to sit and eat even though the tables in the beer garden were empty. I’m sure they’ll have that sorted out over the next few days. Go get yourself some ribs….you won’t be dissapointed. Just don’t wear a white T shirt like I did

It was Saturday April 26th 2008 when Ryan and Jennifer tied the knot and Ridout Photography was there to capture the day. We have had the pleasure of following them as they add a new addition to the homestead with Lil’ Jack. It’s so cool to be a part of the journey and watch our favorite couples build and prosper through the years. Not sure if I’ll be photographing Jacks wedding (although I may photograph 1 or 2 weddings when I’m 80) we will be around to capture a few more years..:) Enjoy

There is nothing like the smell of country air, manicured lawns, garden beds overflowing in colour and a smoker cooking salmon fillets for the guests. What a wonderful warm summer day for a backyard wedding. The Barkey Farm hosted a wedding that was perfect right down to the detail. A feast for the eyes (and camera) Enjoy a few photographs from this special day.
