8th Annual Dining On The Porch 2010 (moved to backyard) with Chef Andrew Munro

Just completed our 8th annual Dining On The Porch and we all had a great time. Chef Andrew Munro Catering & Gourmet BBQ supplied the guests with an abundance of unique dishes and excellent service. If anyone is looking to have a private party, wedding, business party or any other event that requires food you will not go wrong in hiring Andrew. Andrew will soon have his new website live and I’ll be sure to post that when it’s completed. Contact Andrew Munro Click Here To Email Andrew for a free quote

The winner of the fine art custom canvas was Tammy Brydon. Tammy took her turn near the end of the event to take high score in a round of magnetic darts. It is the second year in a row that Tammy has taken home the canvas giveaway. This years canvas was an image shot from Havana Cuba from the La Habana Art Series that was recently displayed at Pane Vino.

Mark Ridout - as clear as onion soup….no problem

kristin - Sorry, Mark. My comment was not very clear. I was referring to MYSELF as the amateur photographer who is inspired by your VERY professional and talented photogrpahy. Thanks for the info on Chef Munro.

Mark Ridout - Chef Munro’s website is currently being worked on. If your waiting to see pricing you would be better to call him direct. As far as my amateur photography , it will fit well with Chef Munros simple cooking philosophy. Fresh, creative and expensive 🙂 You’all come back now….ya hear

Kristin Smith - Any word on when Chef Munro will have his website up and running. I would like to get some more information on the types of menus he will do and the pricing. I really enjoy looking at your pictures. Very inspiring for a VERY amateur photographer. Especially like the wakeboarding photos from Shadow Lake (I presume) although I have to admit I am a little biased as the photos are of my cousins! Thanks!

tammy - once again, a fantastic evening!!! Nothing says living life to the fullest like an evening of fine wine, food, friends and laughter. I’d say that was another one for the memory book.
I’ve already hung the picture in the hallway off the kitchen and I enjoy looking at it every morning while I sip my coffee.
You are both amazing hosts and friends — we LOVE yah!

Sarah Young - The photos are gorgeous, Mark. I really like the one of Neil. We are still raving about the great hosts, the gorgeous backyard, the amazing food. Thanks so much!

L Emming - I would have made the arduous drive to Lindsay had there been Haggis… or Scotch, or a combination of both. But I digress… I wasn’t invited anyway, so it was 3 minutes in the microwave courtesy of Loblaws instead. We ate with plastic knives and forks under a leaky soffit whilst the remnants of Tropical Storm Tufluck rained on our first evening together in 17 months….

I love the photos… but I still had the incessant desire to stab the computer screen in a moment of jealousy….

I may reconsider starting knife-throwing lessons if you’ll invite me next year….

L Emming.

Sacha - Love the place cards… Everyone smiling and happy with Lynn flippin’ the bird. Classic… Love it! & Love you Lynn!

Yiannis - What a night must have been. Friends pop out, gourmet to taste the screen, and photos willing to bring out the best in our dreams.
Keep on for the 9th in health and wealth.
All the best to you all.
