Janie + Russell + Sarah + James = The Alexander Family

We braved the cold December air to capture some great shots of the Alexander Family along with Sugar and Max  right here in Lindsay. Normally we would see things covered in snow but this day the sun came out to make for another fun shoot. Enjoy a few faves from our session with the Alexanders.

Fernando Colaço - Beautiful family session. Love the colors. But that dog: what a fantastic photogtaph. Congrats.

Rick Lewis - Great images Mark!

Madness - Excellent selection. Love the close up of the dog with the two front legs in the air….

Pic Of The Day – Kawartha Lakes Police Station

There was only one way to capture an image of the police station. Use a fish eye to get in front of the hideous telephone poles and wires and shoot early so that the scene was void of Kawarthians and Loogins

Martin - Now that is what I call a captive shot…. ho ho ho….

Supairx - Just out of curiosity I took a look at their official website and man they need some serious redesign and photos. They certainly don’t deserve the look. That is maybe the best entrance photo they ever had. Amazing Hdr treatment and fisheye framing under the circumstances. It makes their world look better too.

Mark Ridout - Because of the telephone poles and wires that would interfere with a standard lens, as well as trying to get in the entire front of the station, a fish eye was the only way I could achieve a clean unobstructed view.

Karsh - Great shot Mark, did you want the fisheye effect or merely used out of necessity?
